Museum of Broken Relationships
While currently pursuing my Master’s Degree in Museum Studies at Indiana University Purdue University- Indianapolis, this past school year I have also been a Community Engagement Associate working on a crowd sourced exhibit focusing on Love and Loss. I have been working on Exhibits and Marketing by creating posters and social media posts and by curating a satellite display. Check out below the highlights of the past year of being a CEA.
Exhibits
For my Community Engagement Associate Position I worked on Exhibits and Marketing. For my Exhibits part of my CEA I helped with curating a satellite display off campus in downtown Indianapolis and helped with setting up the main gallery at Herron on campus.
Marketing
For the Marketing part of my CEA, I designed posters for the call for donations, and the framing text along with a map for the off campus satellite displays to explain what the Museum of Broken Relationships is and where around Indianapolis it is located. Additionally I design and plan out social media posts to get people in the community excited to participate in related programs and see the exhibit.
